Maryland Yin Cheng Gong Fa Wu Style Taijiquan Seminar with Master Zhang Yun
Master Zhang is a student of the late Grandmaster Wang Peisheng of Beijing. Master Zhang has taught Taijiquan
and other internal arts locally and in seminars throughout the states for over 30 years. This announcement is for
an upcoming annual seminar on Wu Style Taijiquan by Master Zhang Yun held in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Familiarity with the Wu Style Taijiquan form sequence is not required to attend the seminar and learn all about
Taijiquan at several levels. So, newcomers, practitioners of other Taiji styles, and practitioners of other martial art
styles are welcome. Please mark your calendars for this event.
SATURDAY, October 10, 2026
Session 1: 1:00pm-5:00pm:
Basic Taijiquan: Discuss and train foundational abilities, basic skills, and training
methods that involve form and push hands with examples derived from portions of the 37 posture Wu Style
Taijiquan form.
SUNDAY, October 11, 2026
Session 2: 9:00am-12:00pm:
Intermediate Taijiquan: Instruction in cooperative push hands concepts and training
methods using Taijiquan principles. Instruction in two-person drills for improving push hands practice with questions
and answers.
12:00-1:00pm: Lunch Break
Session 3: 1:00-4:00pm:
Intermediate and Advanced Taijiquan: Explanation of selected form sequences using
advanced mind and body principles for applications to self-protection.

Pre-Registration:
Pre-registration by an e-mail note to Paul Cote is required by September 30, 2026 for both YCGF members and
anyone else so that an attendee roster can be made. If you come to the door and your name is not pre-registered
on the roster, then admission could become problematic and require further explanation or be denied.
Tuition:
Payment is only "at the door" in cash or as a bank check or money order made payable to "Yun Zhang".
Please note: we will not be able to accommodate payments by personal check, credit card, or over the internet.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your session starts to pay tuition and sign a waiver form.

Yin Cheng Gong Fa 3-City Seminar Tour with Master Zhang Yun and Special Guest Visiting
Master Zhao Zeren The Wu Style Taijiquan of Grandmaster Wang Peisheng
This 3-city seminar tour will feature 3 seminars on 3 weekends in May 2016. Practitioners of all styles of Taijiquan
are welcome.
Master Zhang Yun and his colleague, and special visiting guest, YCGF Master Zhao Zeren, will cover empty-hand
Taiji form and application, Taiji push hands training, the fighting principles of Taijiquan, and some Neigong (Qigong)
exercises as passed down from the late Wu Style Taijiquan Grandmaster Wang Peisheng. This special seminar tour
demonstration represents a unique opportunity for American Taiji practitioners to meet Master Zhao, who is recognized
as one of the best Taijiquan Masters in all of China.
